All Grown Up...

10 years ago if you'd told me that I'd be taking engagement pictures for my little brother I would have laughed.... With only images of my kid brother dancing thru my head I nearly missed that he's turned into a pretty cool guy! :) And he also snagged himself an awesome bride-to-be who we are super excited is joining the family this fall! I'm totally bummed that Brandi won't let me do the wedding photos, but I'm sure I'll sneak a few pictures in in between my bridesmaid duties! So excited for you both!

Spring in Mobile....

Spring time in Mobile CAN be amazing... this year it seemed that Summer was just too anxious to arrive and crashed the party early... Our hydrangeas were amazing... for about 2 weeks... the heat has since sucked all the color out of them and they are just barely hanging on waiting for the next batch of shade or scarce rain shower. But they were pretty while they lasted!

Last year we had all pink... this year we had some blue, purple and pink!

My lime trees are getting ready for late summer mojitos!

Our agapanthus are holding up much better in this heat... we added a few new ones this year that will hopefully bloom later this summer. I love the height of these plants... the blooms easily reach 3-4ft off the ground!

Found this stowaway in the grass recently!! I've since found 3-4 other baby basils nearby as well... guess next year I should just check my grass before I buy a new plant!

Welcome home Elizabeth!

On Monday March 7th, Elizabeth joined our family! She weighed in at 5'12 and was smiling from the start! As any new parent can agree, she has changed our world inside-out and upside-down! Each day is a new adventure and a new photo opp!! Here are a few from her first few weeks....

This is the fabric that I used in her nursery for the crib skirt, bumpers and the valances... I'd wallpaper my house with it if I had enough, i love it!

Lonnnng overdue wedding pictures!

Months ago I introduced you to an awesome couple who I did engagement photos for in downtown Mobile... here are some of my favorite pictures from their wedding in Pensacola. The awesome Whitney J of CAVU Photography helped me shoot this wedding! It was great working with her for the night!

Love this last picture of the girls playing with the chair ribbons! They were exhausted by the end of the night!
